Headlight 0 setting with engine running
So this seems to activate angel eyes in bright setting at night at least. Seems brighter than auto setting. What is your experience?

This is normal. The car has different brightness settings for the corona rings to be used when the headlights and parking lights are off (position 0), when just the parking lights are on (position 1), and when the headlights are on (position 2).
At position 0 (lights off), the corona rings serve as the daytime running lights, so they’re lit more brightly. At positions 1 and 2, with various other lights on, DRLs are no longer needed, and the corona rings serve more of an aesthetic purpose than a functional one. They dim accordingly. The brightness settings are codeable. If you’re into coding, see: Code:
FEM_BODY/3062/MAPPING_{TAGFAHRL,PARKL,STANDL}_V_{L,R}_PWM_LEVEL_1 |

With Bimmercode you can code them to be 100% brightness when the low beams come on
