Blue M-Sport/M-Performance Brake Kit
EDIT: Will include shipping for free, dependent on U.S. location. Hi Guys, I have Brand New, never used Blue M-Sport/M-Performance brake setup, minus the rear calipers. Includes front and rear M Performance Slotted and Dimpled rotors, Front Blue M-Sport Calipers, pads, front and rear pad sensors. You can't buy the Blue Calipers as part of a kit so you have to buy it all individually and their ungodly expensive. I do include the rear rotors as well which aren't included in the kit from BMW. The M-Sport Front Calipers: One caliper has minor scratches on the BACKSIDE of the caliper (not visible) from test fitting a custom project. In the picture below, the scratches are only just above the lower mounting ear on the backside of the caliper body. Everything else is just reflections from the flash. I ended up going with F10 M5 front calipers since they're radial mount and fabricating the bracket was easier. What's Included Listed with Tischer's Online Pricing (which is where everything was purchased): -New 370x30 M-Performance Front Rotors ............. - 319.56 x 2 = $639.12 -New 345x24 M-Performance Rear Rotors ............... - 160.00 x 2 = $320.00 -New Blue M-Sport Brembo 4-Piston Calipers .............- 651.56 x 2 = $1,303.12 -New Caliper Springs, Pins, Mounting Bolts - 49.56 + 36.68 + 13.20 = $99.44 -New Pads .................................................. ......... - Kit Price = $133.97 -New Front and Rear Brake Pad sensors ............... - 23.00 + 24.16 = $47.16 TOTAL: $2,542.81 Everything is in Brand New condition and pretty much perfect, the flash in the pictures might make it look like there are other marks and stuff, but it's just reflections. Asking $1,900 That's a savings of $642.81 off Tischer's prices (already much better than MSRP) for everything minus the rear calipers. **EDIT:If you like, i can include brand new matching Blue M-Sport rear calipers for a total of $2,775; that's the complete kit with brand new OEM European M-Sport Blue Calipers and the M-Performance Front and Rear rotors. And I'll include free shipping. That's a savings of over $1,000 off Tischer's prices plus probably a couple hundred dollars in free shipping. Yes it's more than the ebay M-Performance kits, but really this is only a steal for someone who only wants the Factory European OEM Blue M-Sport calipers. Yea, I know, if you want Yellow calipers, then by all means, that's definitely the way to go. For someone who wants the factory Blue, good luck coming near my price. I'll double check my costs though. I picked up the rear calipers as well, but i used those. So I'll need to price those out and see where I end up. The worst part is having to price everything separately. Because it's not a package, you have to purchase the retaining spring, pins, pads, sensors, etc.. all separately. I'll be the first to admit, that for an F30 owner, if you don't order the M-Sport brakes right from the factory, it's cost prohibitive to do it after the fact. It's a huge price to pay unless you're willing to purchase the normal kits and then sand down and respray the calipers blue. At least doing that you get to put the M emblem on the right way. I can't stand how BMW always has to have the M facing up. It looks backwards have the time.
That being said, I'll obviously entertain offers. It's supply and demand, if nobody wants them, either I lower my price or I'll just hang onto them and use them for my next project. Last edited by C ///M; 08-04-2013 at 07:26 PM.. |

I might buy another set of rear calipers and discount them slightly just to sell off the whole kit. Unfortunately that just means I lose more money though.

And I should add, when i said yellow calipers, i was generalizing, obviously you can get the Yellow, Red, and Orange kits from those people. But anyway, like i said, it's the Blue you pay a premium for because they don't come in the M-Performance Brake kit. I'm seriously debating keeping them for my E30 M3 S54 SMG race car project, considering it's probably not worth to sell. Tomorrow I'll list Tischer's part cost for everything vs. what i'm offering to give people a general idea how much it would cost. |

You will see what people are willing to pay and decide if it's worth it to you or not.

The MSRP of those front calipers is $814.45 EACH. Tischer sells them for $651.56 EACH. |

If you want to complete the kit by adding the matching blue rear calipers, from Tischer, it will cost:
Calipers: 501.26 x 2 = $1,002.52 Pad Kit: ................= $100.31 Misc Clips, Pins, Bolts = 49.56 + 104.56 + 13.36 = $167.48 Total: $1,270.31 And I'll add it for you instead for $875. (I'll have to think about that...) I'm willing to take a another $400 hit just to complete the kit for somebody. Unfortunately that's what it costs to get the European Blue M-Sport Calipers since BMW won't include the blue calipers as part of the M-Performance Kit... |
