Hey guys quick question I have a f30 328i Xdrive M Sport with xDelete lowered on bc coilovers and just brought a set of rims and tires of fb market place and was wondering if they would fit if I raised my car back up the set up is 285/35/19 rear 245/40/19 my current set up on my car lowered is 235/40/18 squared those pics are my original set up and the tire is to show the difference in size also in that pic with the rim against the car that rear tire is flat due to a cracked rim so the rim and tire just looks bigger due to the flat but moreless will that set up fit if I raise my car back up a few inches I also have spacers in the front already

Your main issue is xDrive
Your tyres need to be within tolerance for the xDrive system; that's why most folk stick with or as close to OEM specs Use the 'willtheyfit' tyre calculator and see what the percentages are like; but I don't think they'll work at all

I reckon the fronts, fine. Rears, could be a bit close; but there's only one way to find out really...

oem diameter = 26"
245/40/29=26.7" 285/35/19=26.9" it may fit laterally within the area of the fenderwells if you raised your car tooem ride height, however... if the front wheel offset is lower than ET32 it will likely rub the fenderwell liner while turning at or near full lock and... the rear tire shoulder will contact the fenderlip during compression if the offset is less than ET42, or the rear shoulder/sidewall will contact the inside of fenderwell if offset is higher than ET47 and... even if it does fit, the added rolling resistance from width, taller gearing from diameter and heavier rotating and unsprung weight will noticably decrease acceleration, braking and damper performance |

245/40/19+275/35/19 if your offset is similar to member bmw22915 235/40/19+265/35/19 would fit 8.5/9.5 width best and be best function+fashion, though not the meatiest. |

all wheels have an offset spec and it is the distance from the hub surface to where the wheel centerline is. it determines how tucked or poked it is. high positive offset will be tucked and low is poked. i suggest you google wheel offset for pics and understanding. it is quite important and often overlooked when fitting wheels and tires

Yeah I get it. My whole situation is I’m about to drive an hour and a half to see my mechanic and he is going to raise it because my current rim set up now one of them is cracked so I don’t want to get there on Sunday and they don’t fit and then I have to go somewhere and find tires for the back

safer to get 275/35/19 but it still may not fit. The back of the spokes will have the rim info and offset stamped somewhere, if you can get that. Or tell me the bmw wheel model number.

they look to be style 826M. if genuine OEM, they come in 19" front + 20" rear and most importantly their bolt pattern(p.c.d) is 5x112 so the holes will not line up since F-series have bolt pattern of 5x120. they're are also too wide with too low offsets.
if my research is incorrect or you have replicas, which i'm speculating since yours are all 19"?, then lmk the specs when you get home. . |

@ET35, a 285 will surely contact and a 275/35/19 tire's shoulder will mostly likely contact the fenderlip during compression, unless you can dial in more negative camber. doing so, would cause more inner tire wear, though. i guess you could set the compression to stiffest possible also.
btw, are you sure you can raise the bc coils back to where the vehicle is OEM height? most coilovers even minimally lowered is still well lower than stock height. |
