Coding headlight switch backlight
Is there a way to code the headlight switch backlight to only come on when the headlights are on? My p3 gauge has an input for the dimmer, but my car always has the headlight switch backlight lit up. I've seen other cars that only light the switch when the lights are on.

It's not in the cheat sheet. I bet the reason for it being always on is so you can easily find it in the event of suddenly needing the lights, like driving into a tunnel, should you not have it on automatic.

Just an idea, Why not pick up the ambient lighting instead? That only comes one with lighting. You can even use a couple of diodes to be able to pick up from both orange and white positives.
