Hope someone can chime in here. Ive been experiencing a rattle sound from what seams to be coming from the back exhaust. Almost like a heat shield rattle sound but I cant find the source. when I rev it to around 1000 rmp
it emits the the annoying rattle. Anyone have experience with a similar situation?

Check your rear muffler. It has an electric actuator on it and exhaust flap. It is held in by the pin. The pin falls out on these cars and lets the exhaust flap like crazy. Get a new pin and connect back to actuator 👍🏽 just look up bmw exhaust flap noise on YT
