Headlight help please

Hi Guys

I need some headlight help please.

2015 F36 with the Led headlights, on one side the angel eyes don't work but the horizontal strip at the top does.

I had a very quick look to see the fault from up top but couldn't figure it out, any ideas, please?

Does anyone know what bulb they are, or maybe a module?

Many thanks

Have you looked at the lighting diagram for your car on www.realoem.com?

I use realoem all the time for my M3 but haven't for this, it doesn't help with common faults and people's experiences.

Thanks

No; but it'll tell you what bulbs are fitted, what modules it may have etc...

It's good for that, its a parts catalogue

Like I said I use it all the time, but someone here may know of a common fault of broken wiring, other faults etc.

It's a forum for the platform I have an issue with.

Before you replace the LED modules I would run ISTA+ to check fault codes and initialise the headlight driver module. Might be a chance they come back.
If not, you’ll need to replace the two LED modules that are located on the underside of the headlight.

Unfortunately you need to remove front wheel liners, front bumper and then the headlight.

Replace the modules and then using ISTA+ to initialise and teach in LEDs.

If you have a 2015 F36 it will be xenon headlights with LED DRL modules.

Thanks very much for your help, and that's exactly why I ask on forums for help when needed.

I will buy the module too as I'd guess it's gone as one side just stopped working.

I don't have ISTA but do have access to Autologic if that is able to do it too.

The led modules are normally sold as a pair. Each halo has its own led module so 2 per headlight.

Not sure on the Autologic diagnostics but if you get in touch with Wibbles he can normally provide the ISTA download.
