F30 high quality license plate frame advice...
Featured on BIMMERPOST.com With my F30 arriving at the end of March I'm planning ahead, looking around for a high quality license plate frame (plain, no lettering). Couple things here: - I've read that solid brass (w/ chrome plating to match the bmw trim) is going to be the least corrosive material and more resistant to rust. Is this true? I've had "stainless" stainless steel rust before on household items, so I want to be careful... - Should I order 2 screw or 4 screw frames? - Is the wide bottom type OK if it covers up my State's (Washington State) motto? Might have to check to see if it's legal and/or if the cops would actually ticket you for this. Found this one @ AutoStuff.com and was considering it. http://www.autostuff.com/prfichliplfr.html Would appreciate any input and your experiences... -- bl@ster |

4 Screws because it fits more flush and looks better. I don't think it would be iligel once it doesn't cover the actual licence plate number. In Florida its not illigel give the DMV a quick call they will let you know |
