335d gt warning light
Hello all I have a 335d gt 2016 model think it's an f34 correct me if I'm wrong please. Well every couple of weeks the amber warning light comes on and I have to get it plugged in to see what's up with it every time I do they say it's old data and just wipe it however this keeps costing me £50 every time can I buy the diagnostic unit ? I've looked and there are many different ones ranging from £20 up to £1500.
I've had problems with the car since it was bought the garage did work to it and messed it all up then bmw had to put it right something to do with vacuum pipes then they replaced the small turbo and still it wasn't right then replaced a small gasket that should have been done when they changed the small turbo. BMW technical had to get involved to sort that out. The thing is it dosnt go into limp mode any more just an annoying amber light on the dash would it be best taking it back to bmw to look at it rather than buying the machine myself ? Ps loads of air flow sensors got replaced at the same time as they thought that was the fault to start with |

This is all the 'machine' you need:
https://www.amazon.co.uk/Veepeak-Blu...xpY2s9dHJ1ZQ== That, along with this, will perform 95% of the diagnostics you may need. https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...hl=en_US&gl=US |

One thing about Bimmer-tool Lite, don't open the app and expect it to connect to the car by itself, it probably won't. Open your phone settings first and connect the phone to the Bluetooth adapter, then open the app. You may use this same adapter with Bimmercode.
