An EV and a performance car. Anyone else considering it. Reasons not to please.

Great video from Hagerty, certainly makes the Hyundai look a compelling package.

For me, when do you need that level of performance and handling in the real world... and of course, the additional performance means lower range and efficiency.
For me, the EV is about a sensible refined way of getting around with the family and the dog, and the fun car isnt about raw performance but about being able to have fun at legal speeds through the sensory interaction with the car... I can see why it might appeal to others but its a no from me... I can see the EV3 being on my list when the Jag goes back, 350 mile WLTP range from the best stats, and the right size for everyday use for me! |

Having driven a quiet large barge for 3 years I'm itching to get back into something a bit sporty, it won't be the Ioniq N as I don't have access to a salary sacrifice scheme and without that they are £1000 a month, but for me it's the most exciting EV outside of a Taycan.
I love the way it humbles the gauche pantomime on wheels that is the Urus.
