I put in my VIN and it tells me theres an update:

upd05074.bin

Download and stick on a FAT32 USB (tried 2) and it says software is incompatible with vehicle!

WTF? Anyone got any ideas?

Yes, a few tweaks like startup screen and digital speed as well as EBT.

I bet you're going to tell me I need to code EBT off to do it then back on?!

No detailed knowledge but memory says from reading this forum over the years others who have coded have had software update issues. Not had any coding done myself but memory says decoding and recoding has worked for others.
