Best diff fluid for MPerformance LSD

Just ordered the MPerformance LSD for my 2015 335. Any recommendations for diff fluid other than standard BMW fluid such as Redline?

Doesn't ship with fluid so has to have a fill hole

It does ship with fluid. There is a fill plug that you must suck the old fluid out from, and then pump new fluid back into.

They're on clearance apparently for around $500 from multiple sites. Down from ~$2300

You can Google "Shop" F30 MPerformance LSD there's quite a few BMW Dealerships selling for $500-600

I believe they're on clearance because they're not making the 3.15 diff anymore? Either way I couldn't pass it up

Is it being replaced with a better diff? Or are they just no longer producing m performance diff for F30 series cars now that G20 is out?

Not to my understanding, maybe just cutting production back due to the G20 coming out.

Amazing opportunity at this sale price.
It ships with fluid.
There is not a lot of information on a recommended initial fluid change interval. Dealer told me after 1k miles.
Maintenance interval is 40-50k miles.
It is my understanding that 75w140 oil is specified.

Genuine BMW Motorsport Differential Gear Oil, 75W140
Red Line 75W140 Gear Oil

The BMW gear oil weight is somewhat unusual and many use: Red Line 75W110

I have mine in hand already. Got mine from ECS. Could have shopped around a little more but they had it in stock and was to the door last week. I was worried how deep the stock went. But yes, it's an amazing price.

I had the dealership do it. Too fiddly for me to attempt. No coding needed.
