340i Exhaust Tips

Thinking of changing the stock black tips on my 340i to chrome. Any threads on how to do this? And where can I get the chrome ones?

What?! Your 340i came with black exhaust tips? Mine came with chrome tips and bought the OEM black ones for $104 from getbmwparts.com! Chrome tips are collecting dust in my garage now... I would have gladly swapped with you and paid for shipping. They are slip on but fit very snug. I used a rubber mallet to get these off.

I'd be more than happy to swap my chromes for your blacks, it's the only chrome on my car and it's been driving me nuts

I believe all non-M cars with the black tips, while the M sport comes with the shiny chromes.

How did you get the OEM tips off? I have a 335 with the chrome. I've ordered the black chrome but haven't done the swap yet.
