Couple vids of my exhaust
Featured on BIMMERPOST.com 1 - ER catless DP 2 - Resonator delete 3 - Removed packing from muffler I think it sounds good. It is pretty loud on cold starts and from having the catless DP I get that leaky sound for the first 40 seconds. I think the leaky sound is coming from the bottle neck where the DP meets the exhaust. I will eventually get this modded so there is no bottle neck. I also think there is a slight hollow sound and believe this is contributed to having an empty muffler. |

Thanks Mike!

http://www.summitracing.com/parts/svr-tk9001 I had to cut 2 holes in the muffler on each side. The muffler has 3 chambers. The side chambers have the packing in them, not sure if the middle does as well but I was able to remove it from both sides. |

Nice work! You do all of that yourself (welding, etc)?
Did you do any adjustments to the stock tailpipes for the 3" tips to fit, other than welding them on?

I ended up filling 2 1/2 5 gallon bucket with the packing. I was quite shocked how much I pulled out. |

It's located towards the rear of the car and in front of the rear axle
1 - Looking towards the front - resonator in place 2 - Looking towards the rear - resonator removed |

So, you feel any difference in performance, maybe loss of torque down low and more gain on the top?
