Svache's Mojave/Havana Metallic Luxury Line 328i
After a long wait (well, ok, I know there are people here on the boards who wait longer, I feel for you guys!), I finally took delivery of my new 328i yesterday in the late afternoon
I'm usually not really one that writes up extensive reviews and such, my apologies for that but, to put it simple, the car is truly amazing! I had the chance to drive a little bit around the island today and play a bit with the huge amount of features and, dang, I'm in love with a car! Haha Thankfully I haven't noticed any of the problems or annoyances that some of you have with your cars, then again, it's only 1 day in my possession and although I did take it around the island, there's only about 150 miles on the counter so far. Anyways, here's some more pictures of my car that I took today, I might add some more pictures later this week or next week, depending on the weather and if I feel like it

Hey Svache. Congratulations on getting your car!
The colour really does look fantastic, although the ridiculously cool ocean backdrops help . Really pleased for you that it's finally arrived after such an epic journey. Be sure to put plenty of miles on it over the weekend and, if you have time, let us know what you think of the cars various features, ride, sounds etc... Also, can you get some pics of the inside too? Enjoy. |

Thanks!
The 4 stands for the month in which the safety check was performed and the sticker next to it shows in what year (by color) the next safety check has to be done. We have to have those stickers by law on the bottom right of our cars, usually they're placed on the bumper but I asked the dealership to attach a piece of metal to the bottom of the bumper so there's no nasty sticker on the bumper itself. Some people actually have them next to the plate (I did that on my X5 and on our M3 but it's not legally allowed and could result in a fine). With certain mods (actually almost all of them, even lowering your car or getting too big wheels, for example), people will also need a third ('recon') sticker, which shows their mods are checked and found ok Thanks! And no prob, I will add some pics of the interior as well tomorrow or the day after =)

Holyshit Svache... awesome car! Loving the mojave color!
Couple of questions: 1. What kind of tint is that? %? 2. What is the interior color? From the pics it looks like saddle brown but can't tell. Take some interior pics please |

At last!
Gefeliciteerd man.Prachtige ingetogen kar. Die '4' vind ik dan weer minder, maar ok dat is weer de overheid die daarin hun zin doordrijft. Have fun with it. Even when the road narrows LOL. And this is the same OEM tint I have for only the rearside windows? Cheers Robin |

It's 35% tint all around (max. legal tint for my state), the back might look a bit darker but it's only because I have the rear shades up for my daughter. The interior is the Veneto Beige, an awesome color, it feels very luxurious in combination with the Mojave exterior. I will post some interior pics this week, tomorrow or the day after or so =) Quote:
The tint on the car is the same all around, the rear shades are pulled up and that might give the impression that it is actually a darker tint in the back. We're not allowed to have anything darker on cars than 35% tint. Only SUV's such can go completely black in the back of the car

Don't forget to supply your CA with that metal plate, I just know you wont like the glue on your bumper

Thanks Svache. I gave them my bracket already. I might just ask them if i can register and have the safety check done by myself instead. :-). Hope to see you on the streets!

Wow, a safety check ! Here the only time a car ever gets anything close to a safety check is when it is sold through a dealer and they check its not dripping out oil too fast and the suspension is actually still welded to the car and not just tied with wire.

Beautiful car, Svache! Which island do you live on? If it's the Big Island, then tell us how it feels as you drive Saddle Road.

Beautiful!! Love the color combo. And btw, I also love that spot on the North Shore off the Kam Hwyh near the pines; great contrast between the ocean and the color of the trees.

Nice. That's the color and combo I'm going with. Would also like to see interior pics. The wife and I go to Hawaii every year. It'll be tough to be there knowing there's a Mojave/Luxury touring around there without us! Congrats.
