E-sys scaling issue on MacBook Pro
I just recently got an ENET cable for my F30 and I have been reading a lot of guides and tutorials on what kind of coding be accomplished and how to do so.
I decided to use Boot Camp because I do not like using a Virtual Machine for such purposes, or at least I had a nightmare of an experience doing so while coding my old Seat Leon using VAG-COM cables and software, but I seem to be having an issue with the scaling of the application in Windows 10. I have attached screenshots of the issue. Does anyone know how to fix this? My screen resolution is 2560 x 1600 by default, should I change it to a different one before using E-SYS? I know it's not a huge issue but I'd like to be able to read everything clearly in the process. And one more thing, I have been thinking about reading all the CAF files and taking a copy of them in order to view and understand without being connected to the car, would that be the best way to go about it for a beginner? I don't want to mess things up so I'd rather play around with the files, translate things from German to English, etc. first so I can have a better understanding before I start editing stuff. And does anyone know the size of the CAF files and backup? I only have about 5 GB of free space on my Boot Camp partition. Thank you. |

You can try the "High Resoultion Fix" of the Launcher.
And yes, it's a good idea to read all CAF files, then disconnect the car and take a look at the CAF files. The CAF files (extension .ncd) take up only little space (1-10kb). |

I second this. The high res checkbox works for me when I do my stuff on my Mac pro.
