I decided to pull the trigger on this setup after surfing through this thread. I tried to get a couple of pictures from different angles.
Estroil Blue F30 x OEM 437m Wheels x H&R Sport Springs. Tire Sizes: 245/35/19 Fronts and 265/35/19 Rears wrapped in brand new Firestone Firehawk Indy 500's. Alignment: -0.5 degrees of camber up front and -1.5 degrees in the rear. (Within factory specs) I know I asked about running 245/40 but I wasn't sure if it would rub. If I had to do it again I would definitely put a 245/40 on the front. It would fill in the small gap up front and I am sure it would clear with this drop. The rear is filled in perfectly.

For sure next time around I will get the 245/40 and report back.

I have some Vorsteiner V-FF 112s (19x8.5" ET30 front 19x10" ET45) coming in Wednesday and I want to order some Michelin PS4S tires. I am trying to go 245/40/19 front and 275/35/19 rear. I am honestly only worried about the fronts rubbing but I hear depending on the tire, there might be enough clearance. I am running on the Stock M Adaptive Suspension, my car is a 440i XDrive Coupe with MSport, Track Handling, and MPPSK. |

https://imgur.com/gallery/Zp4r8Ar But basically, this is me running 225/40/19s in the front. I was wondering about the guy who had rubbing on his F30. I see he isn't using the Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires, I picked the sizes mentioned above because the tread width is just short of the actual rims. Tires from differing manufacturers may have the same tire size but they can be spec'd quite differently. So in the case of the PS4S 245/40/19, it has a tread width of 8.4" vs the actual 8.5" rims. And for the PS4S 275/35/19, it has a tread width of 9.8" vs the 10" rims on the rear. IMO, tread width matching the actual rims is much more important than going with "the widest rubber you can fit" and this is mainly for handling purposes. I always have the option to downsize to 35/30 vs 40/35 however, I would like the higher sidewall considering I live in the NY area where potholes are quite plentiful. I am sick and tired of playing hide and seek with potholes in Manhattan and my Bridgestone Potenza S001 run flat tires are ridiculously harsh despite having the adaptive M suspension (less harsh than having plain old M suspension). Another reason is, unfortunately I can't find the link but someone mentioned on these forums that he wished he went with 40/35 sidewalls compared to 35/30 because it would have "filled in the gap". I go on quite a few spirited drives when I go around the twisty roads in the Poconos so I really do not want to deal with rubbing at all. Anyone with a F32 + Michelin PS4S tires who can give me some advice? |

Here is a much better picture of the vents for the brakes.
For those with Track Handling Package F32s, I don't think messing with this is a good idea. You can still roll your fenders however. Last edited by itwasluck; 09-06-2020 at 04:40 PM.. |

I hear you are running 245/40/19s in the front. I was wondering if this is still possible to run with the stock M Adaptive Suspension (without any rubbing). I understand you are on lowering springs. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

I ended up doing 245/35/19 because I couldn't get anyone at all to confirm if 245/40 would fit. But I have thicker tire. It has not rubbed at all. On stock suspension, you can definitely pull off 245/40.

Honestly, I think I'll just order the Michelin PS4S tires today (245/40/19 front 275/35/19 rear). If it fits, great. If not, I'll just return it and go with 35/30 side walls. Thank you for the quick response and for the reassurance that I needed. On Stock M Adaptive Suspension, I hope these clear. I'll definitely post an update after I get the tires/wheels fitted for those wanting to do a similar setup. I know most people run the usual 235/35/19 f 265/30/19 r. But depending on the tire manufacturer, you want to match up the tread width to the rim width as much as possible. Never go above, try to be within 0.5" and you will have superior handling to other setups who simply fit the fattest tires they can (which they boast about but in the end it leads to no increase in handling and/or performance). For people living in the NY area, trust me, your gonna want to go with the biggest side wall possible. You (and your back) will thank me later. |

Couple more pics of the 285/30 tires on the rear. I think I have room to lower the rear even further if I wanted to and I would probably still not rub.

Pulled the trigger this weekend and purchased a used set of OEM 437m. They have the stock Michelin pilot super sports 255/35 in front and 275/35 in the rear. Still have not added them to my RWD 435i. I've only found out about some poke that occurs with these rims after purchase lol.
From all the research I've done all this weekend it seems most people are lowered and worry about rub. I will not be lowering my car because I feel it's low enough as is. But wondering what tire size will reduce poke. 245/40 fronts and 265/35 rears? Or 245/35 fronts and 265/35 rears?? Anyone that is not lowered and running these wheels, preferably another 4 series non gran coupe owners please chime in!!! Thanks in advanced |

Finally got through the whole thread, but not sure if I have the right answer still. Have a set of OEM 437M's heading my way and drive a 2015 435i GC M Sport. Not lowered and not planning to do so. The consensus seems to be 235/40/19 and 265/35/19 may be best for my situation?

Your car looks great! How much camber are you running on the front and back?
