A couple of days ago I was driving with the blazing sun facing me, and the back of the head unit, the warning like "your phone is getting too hot" popped up. Has anyone had this issue?
My journey finished within 10 of that, so it didn't progress and continued to work after the message during the journey, it is working OK afterwards too.
I couldn't locate the message in notifications so couldn't screenshot it.

Thanks for this, I have had a play with KSW but got a few issues now hopefully someone can offer some help

The buttons programmed to control Spotify don't seem to work, I have tried assigning other buttons but still not working any suggestions on a fix?

Since I have installed KSW my screen will no longer automatically switch to the reversing screen, I have stopped the KSW app and then it seems to work again again any suggestions how to fix this?

Hello, I have installed mine Android 12.3 screen and it works OK in my BMW X2 F39. The problem I have with carplay is that the sound from my original BMW bluetooth was better balanced(right side) and without echo. When the sound comes through the Android there's a great amount of echo. Is there any setting so my carplay uses by default the OEM bluetooth connection for calls?

I was happy for a long time now with an Android10, with 10.25” in my F20.
Now I have an F26 and have bought a 12.3” Android 12 (attached photo of original software and condition).
My question is, does anyone else have problems with the screen on the rear view camera trying to adjust the brightness in vain, so that it is usually overexposed and you can hardly see anything?

From your point of view, can I switch to Android 13, would I have any disadvantages? Because apparently a few people here have switched back, or am I wrong?

From my point of view? My last experience was with Android 10 over 3 years ago. I said this many times before and I guess I'll say it again: I think everyone should ignore these updates, find a nice launcher and forget Chinese shitty firmware.

A new Ksw-T-M600_OS_v1.6.1-ota release just arrived today. The audio is better than 1.5.8 and the use is smooth. I thought I had to go back to A12 because I didn't like the audio but now I'm happy with A13.

That's actually funny because according to our investigation and changelogs, they didn't touch audio drivers 🤣

The only thing this update addresses is some Benz theme.

1. If it is a bit sunny outside and you move in the direction where the sun comes from, than the picture is mostly overexposed.
2. In darkness, on the other hand, the picture is too dark.

Therefore, if I adjust the brightness for one case, you can't see anything in the other case. Then you have to adjust again..

So this is the condition compared to original HU display. There i had always a nice picture! The camera is original.

I loved the update on my last HU (with Android 10). Because if I hadn't done that, I would never have had the ID7 display.
Well, with the new system the ID7 is of course already included, but I wanted to know whether there are more benefits with Android 13, for example, or whether something contrary has been done.

Is it possible to name the pros and cons here (Android 12 vs. Android 13)?

Maybe someone else here still has the experience?

The thing with these upgrades is that once you find one to your liking, stick with it. Most of the regular upgrades does nothing noticeable anyway.

The only thing i am looking for now is the ability to pair additional Bluetooth devices and maybe some DSP functionalities for on-the-go tweaking. I already have an external DSP amplifier combo running but sometimes, depending on the source, some additional adjustment is required.

Could it be because after switching from A12 to A13 I didn't reset?
When I first installed the A13 I had a bad Spotify sound, low bass and non-existent other frequencies even when I changed the equalizer. With this 1.6.1 the sound seems to have improved.

Probably a factory reset would have fixed that for you, but it's hard to tell what is going on with these units.

For some reason, the head unit of my E88 reset to factory settings, and the Bluetooth is not functioning anymore. Additionally, the main interface looks different now; I assume it was downgraded to ID5, and I had ID6 before. It would be great if you could help me and send me the latest firmware to update. I had a look at the first page but am not sure which one is compatible with my device and what needs to be updated to fix my issue. My understanding is there are updates for MCU, IMG, factory.xml, and update APK file filter.txt.

I have found the below link with the updated MCU, but it didn't solve the issue: MCU Update Link.

Also, from your link, I'm not sure if this (ID7) is compatible with my device: Firmware Link.

Additionally, I'm interested in customizing the themes. Is that compatible with my device? I'm happy to pay if someone is keen to customize the theme for me.

Browsed through this thread and others on the F87 and F22 forums but couldn't find an answer so apologies for this somewhat boring question.

Just installed a Mekede SD680 A13 unit into my nbt ID4 f87 and everything seems to be working normally through aux on the android side. However, I constantly get a prompt stating "AUX device is not connected or transfer of track information is not supported by the AUX." Aux is selected with an icon at the top of the screen. Is this normal?

Any input much appreciated, thanks in advanced.

I was finally able to update to 1.6.1 after doing a factory reset. All is good except I noticed YouTubeTV app is now incompatible through the Playstore. I guess I can side load it if I really wanted to but no big deal. Everything else works as expected so far.
