Hey, I really would like to know if you can take your concept and put it in my E63 M6. I can't begin to tell you how awesome this is. Let me know how to contact you?

Dang it...
Man… I’m bummed that I came late to the party. These Angel Eye retrofits along with the bi-xenon option are just absolutely DOPE
I just found this thread tonight and my anticipation just kept building as I kept turning page after page. To my utter disappointment and dismay, i sort of suspected he was going to burn out trying to fulfill the demand of an entire community single-handedly. And as I reaching the end of the thread, it became obvious thats exactly what happened. You don’t normally find a mod/retrofit that:
Does anyone know if @blueaudi18 finished up that DIY he promised to do? Or maybe one of his customers actually did some of the installation work by working closely with him and could share some additional details of the process of making and installing this mod? Any idea where he sourced the acrylic material to fashion the LED ring? Or the process? Actually, I heard the hardest part of this whole process is getting the headlight assembly opened up. i read somewhere that one enterprising guy just took a Dremel tool to it and pretty much brute forced it open. That would scare me. Seems like putting the assembly in the oven at low heat would be a better option to soften the perma-seal glue they use. In any regards, i still want this mod, whether he does the work (which i would gladly pay for) or i have to do it myself. But i need more info ... arrrgggh |

I'm interested in your headlights
Hey man. I saw your hex headlights for the f30 man. Great job!!
Do you still have some left ? I would want to purchase just the strip/plexiglass that goes inside the headlights with the LED strip attached and relay if you have one. How much? Email is amzermeno@yahoo.com Thank a lot man. That's some nice craftsmanship |

blueaudi18, how did you get the lights to open up or come apart? seems like the adhesive doesn't get soft with heat. any suggestions would be much appreciated.
Edit: finally figured it out haha! Last edited by bienarcis; 03-09-2015 at 10:38 PM.. |

Did you ever go ahead and do your own set? I'm still lovin' my set and didn't do the lights for the F30, but after talking a lot with blueaudi back then, I made a pair of LEDs for my bike (gsxr). I think the hardest part is probably fitting the LEDs onto the plex and fitting the plex on the housing of the headlight. It's a lot of work but worth it in my opinion. Custom work at home will never be easy or perfect, though.

Funny you mention the mounting. We've been PM'ing back and forth about this subject and i had no idea how challenging it is to get those LEDs mounted properly on the housing edges. There's custom mounting brackets involved to make sure they hold. But the beauty of it is that he makes them look like they just float around the low/high beam housings. I think that's the true test of artistic brilliance... making something complex look simple, minimalist, and streamlined |

My final set will have this. i promised someone on this forum a set for a long time now and he is patiently waiting for me to find some time to finally finished. I promised his set will be the only set like it out there and i plan to keep that promise.
