Exactly my thoughts. In no way does the S5 look feminine to me, it's classier and more aggresive than the 335i

How does that make the S5 quicker? Sure, the S5 is 0.1 sec faster to the 1/4 mile line because of the AWD launch. By the time they cross the line, they are doing the same speed. Rule of the drag strip: trap speed tells you which car is faster. so they are pretty much even. Class dismissed. Thank you.

Dragstrip will always even up the advantage that AWD gives a car, on the street on a normal non-sticky surface the S5 will be quicker. Surely when you guys want to race you don't say 'want a race but only on a dragstrip'. Another thing I notice, BMW drivers prefer to do rolling starts, I wonder why.

Go see the M5board videos. I have never seen an Audi win. They get whipped by EVERYTHING. Anything above 60 mph is a disaster for Audi. Show me one video where an RS4 has won in high speed runs. Hell the RS4 even lost against the ML63! Lost to a truck with the aerodynamics of a brick!

Edmund has S5 curb weight at 3807lb as tested by its balance. BMW coupe is 3561 lbs from manufacturer.
If you compare an A4 with and without quattro the difference is roughly 120 lbs. AWD is Audi's choice, if they can't make it lighter I don't see that an excuse. |

That is just 100 pounds lighter than the M6! If you are not a Metrosexual, why didn't you tell us you were a girl? Got any pic?

But anyways you should admit that the S5 at least looks better than a Honda Civic Type R. Plus I dont drive on the track every day like you guys do so i would pick the S5. Plus I have a feeling it would get WAY more chicks than a 335i. |

Yes, I will admit the S5 looks better than a Civic Type R Would you track your car more if they dispensed hair gel and did Pilates classes between run groups?

I am glad that I am getting an M3 instead of a 335i and they in general are a better class of people, that extra money must be buying me into the professional class of person.............instead of working people which you lot are clearly in.
Common isn't the word for it. |

Check out the title of the thread, who was making fun of who. All I was doing from the off was point out that the S5 is no better or no worse than the 335i only different, some others here were making it into more than it was, namely T-Bone.

haha for a guy who seems pretty homophobic, Tbone has quite the collection of picture these ;P haha jp, but yea i think the S5 is more of a girl's car, but regardless, it is a great looking car. Would rather own a 335 or an m3 for that case

I trust this is dry UK humor that you are not trying to make class distinctions by people's car choices. If you were serious
