Depends...when is your order scheduled to go into production? Is it a German or SA build?

Very good chance you'll be able take advantage of the $1k holiday rebate.

As of today my status is being transported to port of exit. My car is an SA build so I guess I am out of luck as I read the ship going to Germany leaves today. Next ship leaves sometime in December. Can anyone confirm if there really is other transport companies. I would think that since there is now more prodcution in SA that they would have more transport dates than the ones mentioned in one post.

It appears there will be quite a bit of holiday excitement here. It always eases the pain of the wait to talk to others waiting also. I have been to busy to call the dealership this week to inquire about a couple of things relating to the $1000 holiday credit. Tommorrow I will contact my CA to clarify as to if we are locked into both the holiday and loyalty credit even if the car does not arrive until after January 2nd. It is my impression that we are but I am not positive. However, even if you can't lock into the credit I am pretty sure that if you are willing to go ahead and finalize the purchase of the car before the incentive date ends and sign all the papers you still get it. The only disadvantage is the inservice date starts that day but if you are only talking about a few days it would be worth $1750. I know several years ago my dealership called me a few weeks before my car was to arrive and offered me $500 additional discount if I would go ahead and purchase the car. He was trying to reach a sales goal. He said as long as they had the vin #, they could go ahead and finalize the deal and that BMW would still be responsible for any damages until delivery. Of course I would have to get this in writing. I will let you know what I find out

roadcarver,
I'd love to here what you find out regarding this matter with the rebates. My build could get here before end of year but I want to be prepared in case it doesn't. My rebates are $2,000 worth. Thanks. |

In for this as well, i've got 3,500 in rebates that expire at the end of the year that i will happily pay 1 month of payments for to keep.
I'm thinking this stands true though, when I ordered my S4 in 2011 I had paid for it about 2 months before it arrived due to a shipping snafu.... |

Great news guys, As I had originally thought, if you are already approved for BMW financing and the dealer locks you in, you will get both the $750 loyalty credit if you are a returning financial customer, the $1000 holiday credit and the $300 BMW app credit if you so desire even if you take delivery after January 2nd. Just make sure your dealer has you locked in. Now we can all rejoyce and not stress about is as much. Is anybody here going to put the extra cash into their car in the form of exhaust, tints, etc?
