Brake hold at a light
I've done some searching and it says that the f30 has the auto hold feature, but i can't figure out how to activate it.
Im a Mercedes i had i would just jam the brake pedal for a split second and i could take my foot off. How do i do it? Any coding necessary? |

I am not sure if coding is involved or if a special sequence is needed but MY2012 came from factory like this.
I also have the 8AT. The brake as I understand it is in the transmission and not in the brake system. |

The only auto hold feature I know of is that the car wont roll back on a hill if you get off the brake.
It will hold the car for a few seconds then the brakes are released. Is that what you are looking for? |

The auto hold feature is activated with the electronic parking brake. Had it on the X5M, A6, and 750. The F30 doesn't have a true auto hold, it just has the BS so it doesn't roll back when facing uphill at a light.
