BMW Shark Fin Antenna Cover Mount
I recently started getting a leak from my Shark Fin Antenna into the interior of my car. I need to replace the seal and seal the cover down again. Has anyone used any seal/tapes that worked for this? Has to be completely waterproof so that the Telecoms module underneath does not get ruined.

The problem with the 3M double sided tape is that it is almost impossible to curve it the way that the fin edges curve. I fear that it won't properly seal. I am wondering if anyone here has used any sealants that worked well to keep the water out.

Thinking about it if mine leaked I wouldn't pull it. Going by my Bentley manual that process is pretty daunting. I'd use a thin bead of UV cure glue around the joint.

I've used 3m double sided tape before and leaking isn't the issue. The issue for me was that it wasn't tall enough. I can't quite remember what I did to solve that but I'm 90% sure I ended up stacking the tape and it never fell off when driving 110+mph or through automatic car washes.
