Would a G30 digital cluster work in an F30?
Hi there!
I'm the proud owner of a 2016 F30 330e and I'm looking to modernize it a bit. I ran the F30 6WB cluster for about 1.5 years, but it doesn't work all that well with hybrids (not showing battery data, app missing features while running the 6WB and such). The 2018 530e cluster, on the other hand, looks like a much nicer and completer product IMO, and it would be a great addition to my car. Like the title says, would it be possible to get a G30 cluster to work in my F30? Physical modifications aside to make it fit, what would need to be done to make it work with my car's systems? Or is this idea too wild to even consider putting time into it? Would love to hear your thoughts! |

Not compatible. Your only option is an F3x 6WB or an aftermarket iDrive 7 cluster if you're willing to have a Chinese cluster installed.

The Chinese cluster is not an option. Don’t like the look and that would sacrifice even more functionality. |
