320i 2016 Drivetrain malfunction
I have a 2016 320i and it gets a drivetrain malfunction warning sometimes when I drive, I turn off the car for a minute or so, turn it back on and it goes back to normal, this message has appeared a few times, but I just took it to 2 mechanics and they say that nothing comes up in the scanner, they can’t figure it out, anyone know what it could be??? There’s no engine light on or anything, it just happened trandomly when I drive

Only 3 things it could be 1. HPFP 2. LPFP 3. Fuel pump control module i would start by doing the Hpfp 20-30 min job maximum, then from there i would do the LPFP, then the Fuel pump control module

No u cant just guess and throw parts at it.Strange its not registering a fault, maybe they not using a good scanner.
Other option is when it does throw the fault code,do not switch it off and drive straight to someone who can scan the car for faults. |
