Just got my car back from body shop and....
As I'm driving away the TPMS Inactive light comes on and then the first light I come to feel a light shake in the steering wheel as braking.
Now I know the shop I went to is reputable. I've done business with them along time through the years. When they took it earlier in the day to get aligned the light wasn't on and there was no shimmy, per the owners words who drove the car. The car had been lucky in that it was involved in a 5 car pile up but my wife was able to get our of the "train line" but in doing so she clipped the right rear of the car in front. The car was drivable home that night an to the shop the next day. So...all the info leads to my questions. Could a TPMS sensor have just gone bad? Could my rim be out of true somehow? Not sure how to proceed on this one. I know I'm going to be way more picky than anyone else. But my gut says its not right. And now I've picked up the car so I don't k ow where to start. Any help is appreciated. |
