Automobile is a mag I trust a bit more. Seems like the variable rate steering is still not great (not surprised). I'm hoping the standard rack, while electric, is as good as the E90.
I think that the adaptive dampers and the standard rack may be the way to go. Now, I'll just have to drive it myself....

so far so good... all reviews so far are good. we won't love all the things BMW did with it but at least it still maintained it's character that made it unique to other cars in its class.

most curious about the variable dampers and if they make car not so twitchy and ride is reasonable on big wheels on bad roads.
Friend's newest A6 on 20in rims in S line mode feels very good. Audi got something right. HOpe bmw did too. The e90 on big rims is a fking disaster on anything but perfect smooth roads.
