thanks hopefully this simple math holds up when I am at the negotiation table, as it never seems this straight forward at the dealership?

If you have dealer loyality going for you, get more off the MSRP! Im sure anyone will give you $500 off, regardless of whether you are a return customer

i often find dealers mark up their money factors, and claim they can't possibly allow for the BMW suggested MF of .00195. I have already been quoted by 2 dealers that marked up that MF to .00235. thoughts on negotiation strategy when this takes place.

call another dealer, perhaps even out of the area or state to see what they are offering, its always good to have a real answer to go by. ANother strategy may be to work backwards, what is the payment you want to pay, and make them work to get you there, ie, let them keep their MF but lower the MSRP, etc

my credit is tier 1. they are supplying this information prior to me supplying my credit score or asking for my SS# to pull my credit.

i have experienced this in the past. i have polled our board for MFs and then taken them to the dealership and they are like "we can't possibly offer that, we have to make money too".

its like when you go to bmwusa.com and you see lease offers. if you print that out and bring to the dealership they will laugh in your face.

leased an e90 335 in 2008 and was even tough to think i was paying $550/mo

I don't think that's accurate IMO.
Do your price include Destination and Handling? Usually the residual is calculated without it here in Canada at least. If yes; Residual = (47245-895)*0.65% = 30127.50$ Depreciation = (46745-30127.50)=16617.50$ 0.00195 x 2400 = 4.68% interest rate Depreciation payment --->495.66$ Mensual interests on residual --->117.50$ 613.15$ no tax 670.18$ with tax. |

the lease calculation is for a well equipped 328i with a 47k sticker and $0 down.
