Adaptive M suspension, how to detect it?

Hi:

I just received my 328i Sport with the Adaptive M Suspension option, but I was expecting some button or indication about changing between comfort and sport mode, there is some special menu in iDrive that is active when you get this option?, hope someone can help me with this, 1000 US dollars for something you can't notice is complicated.

Thanks

I know that there is the button called Driving Experience Control and you can change from Ecopro to Comfort, Sport or Sport+, this change the settings on the gearbox and steering, but I thought that M Suspension was to choose on demand between Comfort or Sport mode, where you can change that? or notice that this package is included

Sport mode does change the suspensions stiffness. The suspension also adapts as you drive.

Then there is no visual way to detect that this option is included?, you can differentiate only depending the handling?, more throttle change the behavior to Sport suspension mode?

With the adaptive suspension, can you set it to it's stiffest/sportiest mode while also have the drive select on "normal"?

I would think that you should be able to select any combination you want, instead of being limited to changes tied to the drive select.

you see that thing sticking out the side of the damper that the wire runs to? that is the control for the adaptive M

Look just left of the spring second coil from the bottom.

I think you can only have changes tied to the idrive, although, im not sure on that...
I believe so too. I will try today and take a pic.

Not sure if all car have this feature, but my 335 do have adaptive suspension. When you switch to sports mode, you can configure or choose one of the 3 options for sports mode:

- chassis & drivetrain
- chassis
- drivetrain

So I guess you can switch to stiffer suspension without changing the throttle response, leave suspension in comfort but more aggressive throttle or best of both world
