Yup, if you have top view, it really helps out. My buddy's F25 X3 does the same thing. After I discovered mine did it, I called him and he went and tested his as well.

not sure if this was mentioned before.
you can't switch driving modes when you have a low tire pressure warning. it was comfort all the way until i could get back from work and inflate. |

When I got my car back, I have to click twice on the remote control to open all the door. It is inconvenient, so I reset one click for all the door open.
Also, it will increase 5 miles each time you press the cruise knob a little longer. That helps not to speed over. We can set speed limit, saying, 79 miles, if over it, the warning music will sound. That is what I have done for my convenience. |

not sure if this has already been mentioned as this thread is soooooooooo long to get through
but I think it is cool how the rear head rests have a vertical (for maximum support) and horizontal position (for maximum visibility for the driver)

ONLY if you included the criminally optional extra for rear folding headrests

Not sure about them myself, I have them as part of comfort pack or something, but thinking the standard headreasts look nicer.
If the folding ones had the flip down button like Mercedes, it might be a different story. As it is I can see myself reversing thinking "IF ONLY THAT DAMN HEADREST HAD BEEN LOWERED SO I COULD SEE BETTER,Grrrrrrr!" |

Wait a minute ... this optional extra, which we pay for, isn't powered folding headrests? So you have to get out, go into the back seat and fold them yourself before you can see ... adn we pay for that right?

They have a button, but it's on the headrest itself. But at least it's a really cheap option, at least in Germany. I think it was 60 Euros. On the e90 I or got them and I really did miss them. So on the f30 I made sure I got'em.

Washing inside of rear screen? I have split folding seats option, so thought it might make it easier to lower them. |

When you have the climate control in auto mode you can still adjust the fan speed up and down. It stays in auto mode, but just becomes more or less forceful. I had always thought you had to let the car control everything in auto mode.

Side Mirrors
If you have your side mirrors set to "Driver side" the passenger side mirror will pivot down to show ground level (pretty cool feature if you are parking in tight spots).
If you set the mirror to "Passenger side" then the side mirror will not rotate and will stay in it's default position. |

Launch control on Manual Shift! I just found out about launch control and this is how I think it works (comment if you know other ways)
1. put in sport+ 2. press clutch and shift to 1st. 3. engage throttle (rev will be held at 3500 rpm) 4. lift clutch and off you go

When I tried it switching to Sport+ alone was good enough.

I found this out yesterday and extremely happy.
To increase the interior ambient lighting, there is a rolling nob towards the left side of the steering wheel (right beside the switch for auto headlamps etc). Roll it all the way to the top and VOILA! Extreme brightness! I know many of u probably knew this before but I actually found this out yesterday and very very very happy. Plus, I never knew my car had heated steering wheel! LOL It's really cool how the steering heats up in seconds.

Little thing but cool... When turning on cruise control, I love the way the orange LED bug rotates around the speedometer to the current speed. Turned on and off a few random times just to watch it!
