That accessories searcher is very odd. If you happened to select another mode or another year and it shows some parts, then after you change model year and/or model it may still show the parts for the other car selected. You have to go into the search clean and directly select 2013, 3 series, mode type. The thing/search is messed up, BMW needs to fix it. |

Again, I have a standard, so for me, getting the springs for FREE from them for this whole hassle, was fine. The stance is a little odd, I agree, but I check the part numbers, they didn't install the same springs, so I'm unsure what I have. What I can tell from driving is that...it's a pretty dramatic handling difference. And I like it. If it's the wrong spring set, I'll shit on them later....at this point, I think the dealer AND me are tired of the car being in and out of the shop.

You said $2900 for the suspension and install and you got the springs for free.
So should we be expecting to pay close to 4000 for everything congrats on getting it done, and hopefully we can get some better pics with the wheels on. Last edited by 4DRS55; 12-07-2012 at 08:37 PM.. |

With the M Performance chassis, your BMW Series experience becomes even more unique. The shock absorbers, wishbones and stabilisers have been extensively tested and coordinated using strict motorsport criteria. The result is even more dynamic driving that will amaze on every straight and every corner. So I have the shock absorders and stabilizers...and the springs are clearly the M/Sport ones (black). Where the HELL are the red ones coming from. I hate being the guinea pig. At least what I HAVE learned and can show/compare to the forum: you can use your stock Sport/M Springs with this kit and have a pretty sick handling car.

I'm not convinced Shiv doesn't have the correct springs. The v1 kit probably is based on the M sport springs.

According to the ETK Catalog, the CORRECT springs for the BMW M Performance Suspension is: front: 31336860630 rear: 33536860621 That's for a 335... Shiv's are the M Sport springs based on his #'s. This is straight from BMW, not a dealer. |

And from Tischer:
"The part numbers you'd need for the Front Springs is 31336860629 x 2, for manual transmission 31336860630 x 2, for automatic transmission Rear Springs (for both auto and manual trans) 33536860620 x 2 springs are $92.40 each" I dont even know that these are available for order |

She drove it today and never mentioned anything... Now that's a great sports suspension. I can take it to the extreme, and yet DD she won't notice. I'm stoked.

Buy, have you tried going to the BMWusa site and look for yourself? What I posted is true, the BMW website does not show the M performance suspension kit as available for F30 sedans, let alone any needed part numbers. The site does show a suspension set with yellow springs but it's for E90 328i and 335i coupes, even with same mode year '12 and '13. If the picture you post is from a dealer, then I'd still be worried, because that dealer isn't looking at anything special just the BMW site. As the dealer to send you a screen shot of the parts department ordering screen. |

Updated pics...springs are settling.
I wanted to give a few days of settling to upload few pics. Def looks better, back has lowered a little, it has a more even rake now, as I expected. Pardon multiple angles, this is to help those that are considering this option if they have an M sport/Sportline springs and want stiffer dampeners:
and yes, the springs are black, not yellow...nothing wrong with that!
