Hartge power tune for 320i

FYI... I just found this out and thought I'd share

Hartge has a +34HP / +37lb-ft kit for the 320i...

Details at http://www.hartge.de/
Specific chip and dyno comparison: http://www.hartge.de/UploadPDF/F30%20Limousine/E%20-%2011202184.pdf
yea, it costs 1700 EUR...
Video of the 320i before and after chipping (including the 2.0i sound) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BaUSDbLhpc0

Anybody ever used those chips? They piggyback, so factory warranty remains, right? Also I'm kind of suspicious of the way Hartge measure the change in performance... change in the 80 to 180km/h, seriously? In the US this is not a relevant measure due to speed limitations. I'd rather see 0-60 gains reported, as conventionally reported...

I think that's the avg acceleration range u need when merging into the Autobahn from the slip road. AC Schnitzer also quote 80-180 in their literature.

Still relevant in the US since 80 km/h is 50 mph, a pretty standard merging speed.

But not up to 180km/h, which is 112mph.

Guys that youtube video is rigged! The last time i checked my 320i redlined at 6500rpm. Look how they shift the vehicle before and after the upgrade. Spend $450 US and buy the BMS. You wont regret it.

The housing looks suspiciously like a Kelleners Sport version (and the pricing). I believe its still a piggyback system so not really sure why the high price vs. BMS / AFE which are both similar and close in price.

Hartge and Kelleners both come with a full warranty, in Europe at least, therefore the price difference.
