WoW!!! That is all I can say....Just installed the Burger Stage 1 N55 and right out the bat I felt the diffrence...it is worth it and the best thing no issues so far, no check engine light no problems starting or anything. Hope it stays like that...but if you are debating on pulling the trigger....DO IT!!!

If anyone was interested-- M Sport 2013 335i with M Performance Exhaust in 14 F temperature, stock runflat summer tires
No tune: 0-60 5.0 sec JB4 Stage 1: 0-60 4.7 sec JB4 Stage 2: 0-60 4.4 sec I tried several launches and the fastest was just putting it in drive and stepping on the gas. The traction was very low that day. All times measured on a Passport GT1 G-Timer which I've used on my 135i at the strip and was within 2-3% accurate in the 1/4 mile in both MPH and time. I will try again with no tune and Stage 2 when it gets warmer out. |

I'll be putting my stage 1 on shortly and will be doing a similar test. Although, mine wont be as scientific as yours. I did the ole video then electronic stop watch method multiple times. I got 5.1 on my stock 0-60 using that archaic method, but I did it on a slight up hill and could've launched better, but I was worried about randoms driving by wondering what I was doing lol How was the stage 2 install? Is it just installing a couple wires to the CAN? My concern with that was 1) I didnt expect much of a difference between stage 1 and stage 2 without at least DPs and 2) having to tie into wiring would leave at least questions when going in to the dealer even if you uninstalled it. |

N54 335i's have been vbox documented getting 3.5 sec 0-60 with tune, dp, and drag radials....I don't think 4.4 is suspicious at all...

Anyone running +4 psi w/93 octane on Stage 1? Thinking about making this change tonight for fun.

It was easy enough to change, but I don't have time to go driving right now. I'll report back in a day or two and let you know if I notice any difference.

Once you have Stage 1 installed and the Stage 1 interface on your computer, you just connect to the JB3 box with the USB cable. In the pic below, where the 3.5 is, I simply updated it to 4 and saved it. Only took a couple seconds.

Looking at the pictures on the site, it looks like stage 2 has a connection on the back in while the stage 1 does not. Interesting thing is the boxes for the other stage 1's seem to have the connection also. Looks like the N55 Stage 1 is the only one with no connection. I thought before they said Stage 1 N55 was not customizable. Last edited by tdizzle; 03-20-2013 at 07:50 PM.. |

Nope. I think when they started working on the stage 2, they must've swapped out the stage 1 boxes so you can't customize it. Gives you more reason to buy the Stage 2 most likely.
