Stop Tech BBK Installed on F30
Yesterday, I had my Stop Tech BBK, ST-60 front, ST-40 rear, installed. I will probably post a picture tonight or tomorrow. Special thanks to Greg and Austin at GT Motoring for their excellent service; they are truly great guys to work with. One thing to keep in mind is Stop Tech does not have a set up specific to the 328i which allows you to retain your parking brake. (This is apparently in the works.) Thus, mine is technically for the 335i which means I have no parking brake--at least for a while.
My initial impression is this is an outstanding kit. The brakes feel more positive and direct than OEM, yet still silky smooth. My first track event is in 8 days. After the event, I will post a full review.

I did not choose the black stop techs for bling. Black is least likely to discolor with heavy track use. We'll see how they look after a few track weekends.

Those look great. Some close-ups would be nice.

So can u take these in for service?
Whenever I have any break issues, I just drive to my dealership. Considering u got these aftermarket, what happens now? You fix them yourself? This is the only reason stopping me from ordering them and going with m perf instead. I don't want the headache of changing the brake-shoes, etc every now and then.

Aren't the stop techs more money than the M Perf ones? Granted they might be bigger though than the M performance ones..

I've had the stop techs on for over a week now and just did a track event at Gingerman, which is very brake intensive. Overall, I am extremely pleased with these brakes. They stop like holy hell; they are astonishing on the track. But if you don't track your car, your braking power will not be substantially better unless you seriously upgrade your tires. That is, unless you have near r comp tires (or at least extreme summer performance), I doubt braking performance will be substantially different--making this kit overkill for just the street IMO.

However, I presume based on your comment there is no date. Is that inaccurate? |

And yep, I'm familiar that the E-brake is a safety requirement for sure. My comment wasn't serious |
