Wheel / Tire / Offset - Will it rub?
Currently running square (BMW 397):
18 x 8 ET 34 in 225/45/18 (Stock Continental Run Flats) Interested in: 18 x 8.5 ET 35 in 245/40/18 (Michelin PSS) 18 x 9.5 ET 43 in 255/40/18 (Michelin PSS) My car has DHP and not lowered. Main question is, is this setup going to be too aggressive in the rear? Any chance of rubbing? Thanks in advance! Also if one day I decide to lower with H&R Sport Springs, will this setup cause rubbing? I assume not due to negative camber but if anyone can confirm, that'd be cool. |

That's a safe setup! Members run offset down to 35 with 9.5" wheel and 255 tires.
You might consider a 265/40-18 rear tire since your wheels differs 1" (25.4mm) in width front to rear and your tires only 10mm. Michelin PSS is available also as 265/40-18. |
