I personally love this guy out in Windsor, Ray from rayzer automotive. He's done tons of work on my S4 including springs. I fully trust him and never feel liked I'm getting milked. He's done work on a few friends cars, including some pretty technical jobs. He charged me around 4 hr of labor for the install if I recall correctly.

I just want a fair low-ish number. On the east coast, I had springs installed on my E90 for less than $300.

WOW! Small world.
I too live in Rochester Hills and am looking for a Dinan Sport Spring install. I have an '14 335I xDrive / MSport / non-DHP. I already possess the Springs, they came Thursday. I was thinking about DIY, but man it just got COLD out! I'd be doing it out of my residential garage with hand tools and floor jacks, (not too bad when it's summer, but it was snowing on Halloween!). Anyway, I'm willing to pay a reasonable amount ($250-$400) for a Independent shop to knock it out. I would be willing to travel (a little), 250 miles max. Any recommendations? If I can't find a shop, I'll probably just hold out, fingers crossed, for one more 50 degree + day. Thanks! |
