Winter Update - Mud Flaps
So winter has already hit Michigan. We got a good 6 inches of snow last night. Today was a real test of this cars ability to drive in semi deep snow. I decided to wait on snow tires to see how it performed. So far, the all season 18" pirelli tires are doing pretty good. I do get a bit of slide at times but takeoff is awesome with Xdrive.
Has anyone installed mud flaps on theirs? I see there is a set you can buy but I really don't want to put black ones on a white car. Really wish they made them in the same paint color. Just looking for feedback on if I should get them. As soon as the cold hit my window washer fluid low light came on. I added a whole gallon to the system and it still shows low. Need to take that into the dealer. I didn't put the rain-x kind in (orange) so that isn't the problem. Last edited by DanITman; 11-21-2014 at 07:14 AM.. |

I have the standard black BMW mudflaps on mine. They do seem to make a difference to the amount of crud thrown down the sides of the car. I don't really notice them but I guess they would stand out more on a white car?

The same goes for the towbar. It shows in Europe but not for the US. |

ECS can get them and I've seen them on eBay, so I'll just get them myself I guess. |

Were you able to get them from the dealer? I asked them to put the flaps on my car before delivery and they say they don't show up in the US accessory catalog and
Nonsense. I bought them from Circle BMW in Eatontown, NJ this summer. The BMW accessory listing says they don't fit M Sport but they fit perfectly.

That explains it. If BMW says they don't fit the M-Sport, they aren't gonna show up for the dealer for my VIN, which has M-Sport.
But do you have a GT? Your sig says you have a normal F30. |
