On that point I agree, but that's not enough reason for me to want my car lower, especially if it was a 428 that's only got five inches of ground clearance to begin with. OTOH I wouldn't own an SUV that sits ten inches off the ground either. In all things moderation.

Exactly... A BMW 328 is really the about the same level as a Honda Accord (at least in their eyes), that's why they want to race it. |

I was thinking more about kids who deck out ten year old Civics and think that fancy rims, loud pipes and giant wings a hot car do make. I fondly remember my second car, an ugly little sort that looked like a bathtub, which had the habit of smoking various Mustangs, Camaros and so forth back in '73. It was a 2002.

I have mine in the same place. When I got it (three of four cars ago) I wrapped the large rectangular transceiver in black electrical tape. It's hardly noticeable.

As a 4GC owner I share the same sentiment. Yes they may be functional, but the first time I explained the aero benefit to someone and was met with a blank expression, I realised how mundanely boring it is.
I'm glad it looks better than the vent on the 3GT but it's still largely (not totally, but largely) cosmetic. |

I am consistently pwning 335i's on the roads here in New York which makes no sense since my car has the smaller engine and weighs more. I attribute it to the fantastic side air ventilation and its impact on aerodynamics. And being body-colored, they're significantly better looking than the black ones which are out of place on cars that aren't black. |

Big question is, would you be up for a car swap though? I'd lay that hot GC you drive in a heartbeat.

Agree BJ, that can be so annoying. Had seven 4xxGC's in a chain reaction cash vying for position to get a look at me the other day. Must have destroyed every GC in the state of NC in one fell swoop. Oh the humanity!!!

M Sport Sapphire Black Coral Red Interior Tech Pack Premium Pack Driver Assist Pack (No more threat of curb rash) Sport Auto Enhanced Bluetooth 19' Wheels As soon as I get her back home the RFTs come off and get thrown in the garage (likely Goodyears, which suck!) Putting on Michelin Pilot Super Sports on the staggered set up. Didn't opt for the HK auto because the stock system is ok for me when I crank a bit and adjust EQ on my iPod. ///M brakes can't go with the wheels I got (checked and even with a call to BMW before build) No manual due to the wife. Love the i6, but makes no sense since I live in the heart of Atlanta and have a very short commute. The N20 has proven to be a powerful and fun little engine in everything smaller than that pig of a 5 series.
