EBII 435 F36 vs Monaco Blue NSX

This is the first time my 2015 EBII 435 GC meets my 2000 Acura NSX Monaco Blue. The EBII is pure blue, while the NSX has a tint of purple.

The F36 is daily driver, the NSX is a summer weekend mid-life-crisis toy.

I love the subtle difference between the two shades of blue. The EBII is pure blue with no hidden impurity, what you see is what you get. The NSX has a tint of purple that points to it's exotic nature.

I insisted that my wife buy her A4 in blue, but she wouldn't go for it. She got a red a4 just to despite me

Yes it is a rare color. Monaco Blue Pearl, was only available in a couple of years during the 15-year run of the old NSX.

Love the NSX. I think I've seen it on the road a few times.

If you want to see how different the EBII can look, take it to the Bayshore parking structure under the white LED lights and you'll see it turn purple too.

So your stable of cars includes an Audi, BMW, Lotus, Porsche, and Acura? Dang. Most impressive! Would love to see more of that Lotus.

Judging by "green car" license plate, I think that's actually a Tesla roadster, not a Lotus.

In any case nice cars OP.

Good catch! Yes it is a Tesla roadster.

Sorry guys I should have explained, the pictures are from my brother's driveway. The BMW and NSX are mine, the Porsche (911 TurboS) and the Tesla roadster are my brother's. And the A4 that sticks up like a soar thumb! is my wife's car.

I'll see if I can find more pics of the Tesla, that thing is a little silent rocket, and should've come with a whiplash warning, because that's what you get if you press on the gas the first time.

Apologies for the following criticism: I'm all for adding the M sticker on the fenders to match the European spec, but it would look a lot better if you stuck to the spec and gone with the size used by BMW.

Agree with you totally. I actually didn't know they came in different sizes until I received mine (off ebay). And now the red stripes are fading... Serves me right for ordering cheap stuff. I will definitely order from BMW this time, and make sure I get the size right for the side fenders, not the back side emblems that are bigger.

You're really living the life... can I ask what part of the world that sweet stable of yours is in?

I've been living in the heart of downtown Chicago for too long now and have been aching for a garage of my own.

Blue would definitely be my color choice too. My future will hopefully hold a red Ferarri California convertible and an EBII 435i.

Currently I have an EB 328i and a Guards Red on luxor 2013 Boxster S. Don't want to have an extra $100k in cars until I have a well protected garage to store them in.
