That just doesn't make sense. I understand BMW's logic regarding having higher ride height for AWD vehicles... but if someone is ordering the Track Pack.... Oh well. That rules out xDrive for me. Thanks!

Last year I drove both 2VF and standard xDrive F30s back to back. And let me tell you: adaptive suspension on xDrive is far from useless. On the contrary, it is an absolute must if you're buying xDrive and want a car with decent handling. Later you can add Dinanware to make it even better.

If the roads in your area are not perfect, you should think hard whether this is something you'd like to live with. Plenty of people like that kind of setup or would even say it's still too soft (for example, my wife is much happier with coilovers on her E82 than she was with the OEM sport suspension, even though she has to drive around every bump or manhole cover), but it's definitely not for everyone. Personally, I'd be choosing between 704 and 2VF RWD (maybe get extended test drives before making the decision), but since I'm in the market for a Touring, I don't have that choice. BMW is basically making me spend extra $3K (xDrive + 2VF) I wouldn't spend otherwise. |

Another couple things I noticed:
They appear to have removed the retractable headlight washers from the Cold Weather Package. It appears you can no longer order the leather dashboard as it was on the 2015 ordering guide as a Priority 1 option but is not on the 2016 ordering guide.

I agree that my RWD 335i with Michelin Alpins cuts through the snow well, but there times when you come to a stop or park on an incline and you need a push to get out, that's happened to me a few times.
