Misfire trouble shooting - JB4
Hi
I went out for some pulls yesterday evening and my car started to misfire on cyl 1 (what it said on my OBD2 reader). Whats the general route to take to solve this? I dont know if my car has ever had new plugs so that might be a first. Any premium plugs you guys can recommend for the N55?

Odd...I'm pushing 22psi+ and haven't had any misfire issues, stock plugs at 25k miles. I will be buying colder plugs here soon tho.

I bought my car second hand and if I know the Chinese right the plugs has not been changed on my car yet - 45000km (28000miles), so its probably about time.
What better than stock are there to get?

Just a hint please don't use OBDII with JB4 unless it's disabled map 0

Had all the plugs changed and in the process we moved the coil to cyl two to test that too.
Problem solved with a sparkplug change! All the plugs looked like this. rustyminded You are probably referring to the post I wrote on N54Tech, but thanks anyway I had been using my OBDlink and JB4 at the same time for +6 months before that post - no issues what so ever and I cannot see the car behaving differently not using it. But better be safe - expensive toys we are playing with.
