Coding lane departure warning indicators off?

I have the Lane Departure warning system and it's a cool feature especially when I'm on long road trips. However, I don't understand at all why BMW decided to have a full time indicator in the Instrument panel to show that it's on.
Even worse, it's dead center at the top.

Any way to code this indicator off?

You could try to reverse this setting:
KOMBI: 3003 FZG_Ausstattung, 10 => TLC_VERBAUT (required, otherwise the system won't be displayed in the KOMBI)

Don't know if the systm will continue to work...

Great I'll try that. Thanks!
