I can understand them not giving other ones though as the speakers are designed to be connected to an amp, which you always need to buy a separate amp wiring kit for. |

Out of interest, how easy is it to remove the door cards and tricky bits of trim? I wanted to upgrade our F21 speakers - i'm ok with the wiring but worried about getting things part and not back together right!

Personally i'd cut them off and use butt connectors like the tweeter so they can be easily unplugged if ever needed. |

Not sure that is any help here at all but maybe for future reference here are the instructions that come with the PnP Rainbow kit, the major differences that the interface connectors come with the kit so there is minimal wiring to take care of.

My memory is getting hazy, but I seem to recall that the crossover, mid and tweeter all connect together using the kit as supplied. I had to crimp the bullet and socket connectors and of course do some cutting and soldering on the connection from the amp to the crossover. Finding a place for the crossover and securing it was the biggest faff.

The only booklet I got was for the crossover itself and doesn't exactly say whats supposed to be included.
I did however call monster audio about the grill thats supposed to come with the subwoofer (never got them) and he said phone back tomorrow. I will be phoning tomorrow and asking what is actually supposed to come with the box. |
