BMS intake vacuum hose
Today i installed my intake, and the only thing left to do was put in the vacuum pump, and i tried many times and it wouldn't fit at all! any idea on how to fix this?

Lol another person having issues with this. I had the same issue when I first installed it. Personally I would just keep going ham on it with the help of another person and make sure you try not to break the plastic around it. I eventually got it 70% in and I gave up, drove it around and it eventually sucked its way into 100% in. Not sure how but it was fine. Every other install and uninstall was 100% easier, its always the first time. maybe use a small portion of oil to butter it up?

Why do these companies have such issues designing the vacuum hose connection properly? The AMS one is located too far away and requires you to "stretch" it. Do they not test fit and see somethings a little off?

i had the same issue!!!
also, i broke the plastic but it didn't matter. I found out that after you drove the car a bit and everything is a bit hot, its much easier to install that vacuum hose. |
