Dealer forgot suspension shipping blocks..

Just picked up a new 2016 F30 saturday, noticed harsh ride and bottoming out very easy..
So just looked and sure enough the suspension blocks are still there.
Dealer I bought from is out of the way.. about an hour..
Thinking do I go local dealer (not sure if they say hey this is pdi go back to selling dealer) or,drive the distance to selling dealer.. thoughts?

It's worth a try going local, but that is definitely a PDI issue.

If I were the local dealer, I would tell you to go back to where you bought it.

OTOH, if the local did it for you (as a favor), he might get your goodwill and future business??

Happens every so often. Local dealer should be fine. I bought my car from an out of state board sponsor. Picked it up at the Performance Center and the blocks were left in. My local dealer found them when during the 1st service (almost a year in) I mentioned that something just didn't feel right.

And then, the OP calls the BMW of NA and raises hell.
That is not the favor, that is a BMW screwup and service any dealer should do.

I live in TX and purchased my car in California. Should I do the oil changes in California?

When you take your car into a dealership in Texas for an oil change they'll get paid for it by BMWNA. In this case the selling dealer was already paid for the dealer prep, so if another dealer finishes the job he's doing it gratis, paying his employee who does the job out of his own pocket.

1) it takes 3.2 minutes to remove those.
2) they can claim that + buffered 60 minutes to BMWNA just like ANY warranty work
