I got the Show N Go electric flipper from Amazon. Little over $100 and it's easy to install yourself, just needed to cut the front mesh grill a little bit for fitment. If you install it correctly it isn't really noticeable at all when flipped down, I just bring it up when I park on the street in the city.

Planning to do the install this Sunday. Can't wait to be done with this so I can focus on something else. Like, wheels for the summer. |

I never had a front license plate on my 2009 Pontiac G8 GT. For seven years I used it as a daily driver from Suffolk to Nassau with many trips to western NY. I never received a citation for the missing plate.
I love the retractable front plate Sayzar. -Brizz |

I leave mine off for Long Island and put it back on when I'm in Queens, Bronx, and Brooklyn...cops are more lenient in LI - for the most part.

I had installed a ELECTRIC RETRACTABLE FLIP LICENSE PLATE HOLDER it's the best, with a remote the plate will display or hide away. I run no front plate all the time and the only time I display is when I'm crossing the tunnels to NYC just in case
look at my old post to see what it looks like |
