Met a cool guy doing custom Z3s
So I was at the Scottsdale (Arizona) Cars and Coffee and met an awesome guy who does a custom kit for the Z3 that he calls the ZGT.
He takes a lot of the styling from the BMW Z8 and other models http://zgtcars.com/ I was going to help him make a documentary with installing the panels and possibly do a review or something fun. I just thought I'd share

Looks like an answer to a question no one asked. The original Z3 is much prettier than his rendition of whatever that is supposed to be.

If you can money-shift it, it's a manual transmission. "Yeah, but NO ONE puts an automatic trans shift knob on a manual transmission."

some things are better left in the imagination. This car is proof of that. It reminds me of that artist who asked a bunch of random people to draw bicycles and had some crazy renditions. In this case, it looks like you asked a bunch of kindergartners to draw a roadster. I would like to see the documentary, I can not imagine what else this gentlemen is working on. |

I may be one of the few guys who quite likes the styling of the E85 and E89 Z4 and the original Z3.
But this - I don't like at all. Looks like someone clumsily grafted an oversized Porsche nose and Corvette back end onto an older Miata and lost all the grace and style cues of the Z3. The big rectangular cutout in the middle of the car makes no sense and completely obstructs any flow to the car's lines. Two thumbs down.
