Help with choosing tires for xdrive!
I'm planning to switch my tires and rims out when the weather warms up a bit. I'm looking for some input as to what tires to get.
I'm planning on getting the Avant Garde m359 or m310 in 19x9 square set up for my 335i xdrive. 1. I'm wondering for the tire if I should go for 225/40/19 or 235/35/19 all around? 2. Also I'm considering getting the Continental extreme contact DWS ultra-high performance all seasons. $100 each. Or the Continental extreme contact DW max performance summer. $176 each Or the Bridgestone potenza s-04 max performance summer. $190 each I would like tires with a good balance of tread ware, performance and comfort. I also already have dedicated winter tires. Lastly budget is a concern as well and I don't want to go for anything too fancy. Thanks for any input!!!

with a 9in wide rim, why not move up to a 245? 225 will be pretty stretched on a 9in rim.

If I go for 245 what ratio would I use? Also offsets are 35 for the rims. I should be able to fit m sport big brake kits eventually right?

235/35/19 is too short for the f30. the diameter you want to get close to is 26". a 245/35/19 will be at 25.75 (depending on tire). Im sure if you search for that size on a 19x9 you'll find other members running that.

I would agree with wdeerfield, step up your tire size to a 245. I would personally run a 245/35/19. My current RWD f30 has a 245/40/19 square setup on the stock m403 rims for winter duty. 245/35/19 would fit your ET35 9" rims perfectly and be a fine balance between comfort and looks.
