You are missing the point of ED completely. You could have a blast with ED on any BMW, regardless of the HP or price point or whatever your comment means.

My guess is that Munich-build should still be an option for custom order.

I will probably get bashed but it must be said. When I purchased this Bimmer, I wanted an "all German" car and made sure I ended up with a Regensburg build. I wouldn't have had it any other way because that's what I wanted at the time. For the next Bimmer (if I don't bail for MB/Audi), I could care less where it's built. Why? No reason, I probably just wanted a German build at that time probably just to say "I've been there done that"

It really doesn't matter where it is built as long as you don't have GM employees on the assembly line and it wasn't completed on a Friday afternoon or Monday morning LMAO!

Thats true for the smaller "Autobahnen" only... I am from germany and the bigger ones (and these are the most) have 3 or 4 lanes.

Spartanburg doesn't have a lot of unused capacity, and they are bringing in the X7. They would have to add another production line to bring in the 3 series.

The Mercedes plant in Alabama is setup like that. They have separate buildings for the C class and the SUV's.
