I was thinking it was going to be something else.

I've got the same racks but take them off every weekend because they're so loud even just driving around town. Anyone notice any difference in sound when adding a fairing?

Racks with aerodynamic bars make less noise, but no bar is noise free. Fairings are the only cure for noise. If I had a reason to have the bars on the car on a regular basis I'd use a fairing. I don't, so I leave the bars off when not using them.

Crazy how small of a mod a fairing might be but they make a big difference in mitigating the noise.
