Yeah, I think the head will last a year or maybe 2. Definitely quicker and removes more snow than the brush I had!

Says it doesn't- pretty soft material. The hood looked fine after. It's softer than the brush I have.

Gets good reviews on searches I did as well.

Gotcha. I thought it was hard plastic from the pictures. I know several people wrap their snow brushes in microfiber towels to get the same effect and prevent damage to the paint. I haven't had to brush snow off of a car that had good paint so I always just use the bare brush, but i never realized how ineffective the bristles were until I saw your pics. That looks way better.

Yes it will. It is a Foam type of product which is soft, but will scratch your paint.

Safest way is by using a leaf blower

Problem with the leaf blower is that it put a thin film of snow on the windows the immediately freezes... then you have to get that off. You also need to be careful you don't hit the car with it especially on the roof. I found it to be moderately effective of cleaning the snow, and had to go around the car multiple times.

The sno brum is working for me, I'll see if it left scratches, didn't see any from this use.

Please be careful, if any dirt on your paint it will destroy it. With your color it won't be as noticeable but want to warn others with dark colors.

Ok - I hear you... but what is good for removing snow? A leaf blower won't work for heavier snow. What's a good brush?

Just try to keep that an inch above the paint when removing, don't press directly against the paint. You will minimize damage that way. If you get the majority off the leftover will fall off when car heats up.

Personally I would just remove from windows and let the rest blow off when driving.

As a PA resident driving with snow on the car is an offense as you probably know.

Thanks for the advice, I'll be careful. My invest in a decent brush. The Sno Brum is useful for the garden furniture that's is covered up!

I have a Snow Joe, same as the Sno Brom. You can move large quantities of snow without touching the paint at all - it's pretty awesome once you get the hang of it.

but as a previous poster mentioned, this is a big offense in many states that can carry some heavy fines (esp if the cop is having a bad day and decides to slap you with multiple offenses that require a visit to the county clerk)

Like I said, I know plenty of people wrap a brush/broom with microfiber towels and use that. I've heard it works well for snow and doesn't leave swirls. You just need to find something softer than your clearcoat.
